Gut Guardian™ contains Black Walnut Hull (not walnut) @ 1% and may contain trace walnut at lower concentrations. Walnut Hull is not the NUT; it does not touch the NUT because the hard shell stands between the black walnut and the hull. However, if you have true NUT allergies please do not use Gut Guardian™. If your child is averse to certain tastes or flavors and is picky about supplements this product may not be feasible.
The most common and liked flavor combination is mix powder with (any yogurt) and a few raspberries (fresh or frozen) or other fruit, with or without a splash of CONCORD grape juice (100% from glass bottle) or other juice, and blend.
How to use
Powder
Take with or without food; mixes well with juice, yogurt, or in smoothies. Start with 1 scoop daily, as needed, and slowly work up to recommended dosage or as recommended by your qualified healthcare provider.
Children 3 to 5: 1 to 3 scoops daily
Children >5: 2 to 4 scoops daily
Adults: 3 to 6 scoops daily
Note: Do not exceed 4 scoops (2 servings) in a single administration.
Capsules
Take with or without food. Start with 1 serving daily, as needed, and slowly work up to recommended dosage or as recommended by your qualified healthcare provider.
Children 3 to 5: 7 to 21 capsules daily
Children >5: 14 to 28 capsules daily
Adults: 21 to 42 capsules daily
Note: Do not exceed 28 capsules (2 servings) in a single administration.
Gut Guardian Capsule version generally recommended for adults, due to amount of capsules.
Note: Before using Gut Guardian™, if you are constipated or not experiencing at least 1 to 2 full bowel movements daily, we recommend you use Mega Motility™ for 1 week prior and during use if constipation is present.
